Very good shooter
I found it a bit challenging to both control the movement and do the shooting with both nunchak and the remote at times, since zombies just keep coming at some points, but hey, that's what the experience is about - make it difficult to increase the level of fun. A friend of mine and I decided to have a quasi-multiplayer experience by having 1 person control the movements and another shooting, and it worked out great. Overall, very good shooter.

I am not a gamer or a male but here's my perspective:

When in a tight spot, aim for their knees. Zombies stay down until you are ready to finish them off and it gives you the chance to fight off the hordes coming right at you. The ax welding, flesh eating zombie horde! But I don't know if you should listen to me since I am still on the first level......

Object - rescue the kidnapped daughter and get the heck of out Zombie Central! While you're at it, gather as much weapons as you possibly can because you're going to need it.

This is truly an all around experience game when playing at night with the lights off and headphones on. Creepy. And did I mention the gore? There is plenty of gore!

The daughter is annoying from the female POV but the game is geared towards males so.... The levels and intricacies are amazing and I bow to the team that created it. This game has been played for months and never gets old. I like that it gives you the ability to save your place once you've reached certain spots in the game but I do not like the little movie-like vignettes (but I understand they are needed to advance the game).

Finish reading the reviews, look at the price tag and BUY NOW. That's my recommendation.

Takes you into the early morning hours...
This game keeps you playing. Makes you want to see what's next and will keep you up way past your bedtime. Thrills and chills and an enjoyable storyline. Imaginative scenarios and fun puzzles.

Some changes I would make are being able to buy ammo from the arm's dealer rather than just leave it lying around, jettisoning the attache case for a more realistic backpack type of storage and more realistic dialogue between Leon and HQ: "I'm sending you a player's manual"??? Puh-leeze! Still, the best game yet for Wii.

All activities are designed around the Wii Remote's pointer. Players can play solo with one Wii Remote, or pass it around like a relay baton in group competitions.

Sample activities: The activities in Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree are fun minigames with a ton of variety, and they're meant to be played rapid-fire for a short time as players push their brains to do more than they did the day before. Here are three of the activities included in the game:

* Art Parts: In this Visualize activity, players must complete the sample painting by stamping the missing pieces onto an unfinished scene. When it becomes more difficult, Art Parts flips the unfinished scene sideways or flips it upside-down.

He'll tell players how big their brain is based on how well they did and how fast they did it. He'll encourage players to take the Test often and to use Practice mode to beef up their skills in all 15 of the activities. Multiplayer: Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree offers three ways for groups to play:

* Mental Marathon: Speed through activities to buy more time to stay in the game. Go it solo or as a team, but if anyone botches an activity, the game is done (1-8 players, one Wii Remote).

* Mind Sprint: Form a team to compete against a system-controlled competitor that "thinks" like a selected student record (1-4 players with one Wii Remote). Or separate into two teams (2-8 players with two Wii Remotes). The first side to complete a set number of problems wins.

* Brain Quiz: Play game-show style with up to four teams that compete in a total of 20 activities, since five extra activities are available in this mode. (1-8 players, one Wii Remote)

Mii compatibility: Everyone who enrolls in the academy will choose a Mii, which will walk down the school's hallway and pop up during Wii Remote handoffs to help explain which teammate goes next in multiplayer matches.

Wii Remote audio: Players will get encouragement and hear color commentary from a "Wii Remote Coach" who speaks to the player through the Wii Remote speakers.

WiiConnect24: In Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree, players can send and receive student-record books full of brainy data. By establishing WiiConnect24 ties with Wii Friends who own the game, players can all see their academies affected in several fun ways:

* Compare distant students' test scores with those of the local student body on the Student Scores board. Distant students' records are shown as books.

* Compete against distant students' brains in Mind Sprint. Players actually play against game-controlled competitors that "think" based on brainy strengths and weaknesses in their student records.

* The distant player's "Mii student" will walk the hallways with the player's own student body. Players can make WiiConnect24 connections with many students, adding many Miis to their crowd.

Players are encouraged to send and receive each others' records frequently, so that their academies have up-to-date results for competition and comparison. In this way, individual academies can join a personal network of schools and push each other to develop their brains further.

Big Brain Academy
I tried Big Brain Academy at my friend's house and immediately knew I was going to go buy it. First you enroll your Mii in the academy, and then take a fun test to see the "weight" of your brain. When playing by yourself you can practice all different subjects including computing, memorizing, visualizing, identifying, and more.

You can also re-test once you feel you've gotten better at the subjects. There is also a brain quiz, which mixes all different aspects of the test but you can play it with friends and see who will get the higher score. You can also compete with friends one on one.

This has been a great game
We got this game for christmas. We love it. My 4 and 6 year olds play this game. Me and my husband love to battle it out. Great for the family

Fun, Sometimes A Little Easy
This game is a lot of fun in a group, and some of the games really challenge you. However, some of the games are a little too easy (on the Easy level of the game). The individual test is fun, and constantly pushes you to try harder. Though once you know the games, you will see that some of them are repeated.

No need to unlock songs, great for jamming
Full list of songs is available the minute you insert the game, no need to unlock. Of course, that means there is no 'tour', no hiring staff, etc...but when you have friends over and just want to jam, this is for you. i have rock band 2 hardware and works great with this game.

Microsoft: The Worst Company in the World
The fact that this card is sold by Amazon for a 10% discount makes it even more of a no brainer. Unlike basically every other company on the planet, Microsoft will not let you manually delete a credit card number that has been inputed into your Xbox.

You have to call XBox customer support and beg them to do it. I'm serious. This company is the new AOL. Continue buying these cards for points or to buy an XBox live subscription. Do not give Microsoft your credit card under any circumstances.

No More Guitars Leaning Against This, Laying On That!

Awesome for Aerosmith fans.
If you are a hardcore Aerosmith fan then you surely love this addition to the Guitar Hero stable. There are plenty of great older tracks from the '70's and '80's to keep you satisfied. Fortunately it's not overloaded with the "Get a Grip" pop stuff.

It's a nice blend of their entire career. In terms of gameplay, it's no different than GHIII. However, the venues in the game are real venues played by the band. During career mode, the game has some nice cutscenes where a member of the band reflects back on that time in their career, and introduces the next venue and it's significance.

It's a lot of fun seeing the members fleshed out on stage while you perform, and even RunDMC get's animated for a song (well actually it's only DMC, as Jay and Run are mysteriously absent).

Fun; Some Good Songs
There are some good songs on this release. I would have liked to see more of the bigger hits as part of the release. We don't feel this game is as difficult as GH3.

aerosmith wii
I'd played regular guitar hero before and got the aerosmith game to have some new songs to play. Not quite as cool... The songs so far are pretty slow and not that exciting. You don't get many song choices in order to move on. Pretty much play the 2 we offer to move on and thats it. Slightly disappointed.
