Seems good for a 5 1/2 year old!
We got this for Christmas for my daughter and she seems to like it. There is a good amount of reading so I have to play along with her to help her navigate the different activities. Overall, I'd recommend it to other Wii owners.

Best WII Game for 5-7 year old girls
Hands down the best WII game for girls. Lets hope they make more like this. With all of the "boy games" out there is nice to see developers finally create a good game for girls. Buy it...you wont be disappointed.

Great for the young ones!
This is a cute game and my 7 year old daughter loves it. I did expect it to take over the Webkinz and club Penguin computer games, but it didn't-we just added another thing... I also find that she seems to equally enjoy the Animal Crossing Wii game we bought for our older daughter.

I was hoping my youngest would have a game more suited for her with PetShop, but she doesn't play it as much as animal crossing-that could be due to the older sibling. I find the game to not be very exciting, but didn't purchase it for me... She does LOVE to dress up the animals. If you don't mind paying the expensive price for a game geared towards the younger crowd, it's great!
