My kids are Olympic stars!!!
We got the WII for Christmas a few weeks ago. Santa only left us WII Play, Mario Kart, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. My 6 and 8 year old are really enjoying these games. I would suggest this game to anybody. It isn't too hard, but it isn't too easy. We will be playing this game for awhile!

Better than most, but it's not quite the sports pac
I did have very high hopes for this game, but I found out that it's not quite as good as the Wii Sports pack. This is a game that takes advantage of the Wii's controller as if you are the athlete. So instead of pushing buttons, you are swinging, thrusting and jibing with the controller.

So in that sense it is a good Wii game. However, the motions you can do in each sport is rather limited. Maybe my expectation was a bit unrealistic, but nontheless it is somewhat disappointing that the sports motion is very simplistic. This limits how much fun each sport gives you:

Overall,

Strengths:
- many different characters with different strengths and weaknesses
- many different games and sports
- multiple players which are good for the family
- hidden sports uncovered only when you have won other sports first

Weaknesses:
- this is fundamental, the general motion in each sport is simplistic
- the motion sensing of the controller is not as sensitive as the Sports Pack, so sometimes the play feel a little lethargic
- some sports are fairly boring, e.g., running and swimming, all you are doing is swinging the controller/nonchuk up and down as fast as possible

Overall, it's a worthwhile game to have for your Wii. I just wish some more thoughts have been put into some of the sports.

It's entertainig
My son wanted this game since he's been playing it on DS. So he received this as a part of Christmas gift. Some games are little hard for him (since he's only 5 y/o) but we help him and it's alot of fun for the family to play together.
