Product Description
Keep your hands steady and your mind focused for Trauma Center: New Blood, sequel to Trauma Center: Second Opinion. This time around there's a lot more on the line. Every cut of the scalpel, every pinch of the forceps, each and every second that ticks by is of the absolute greatest importance.
If you think it's too much to handle alone, invite a friend to assist with the operation and work together to save patients from flat lining. The adrenaline is pumping, lives are at stake, and only you can save the day. Have you got what it takes?
At a remote hospital in Alaska, Dr. Markus Vaughn, a surgeon who has forsaken the politics and power struggles of his former ward, quietly toils. He is content to use the power he has discovered within himself, the Healing Touch, to positively affect the lives of those in need. His partner is Valerie Blaylock, a promising young doctor eager to unlock her own dormant abilities.
When the facility unexpectedly closes, they are forced to return to Concordia Medical Institute, where politics are more important than patient's lives, and doctors more concerned with image than their ministration.
There they are recruited into the government organization Caduceus, where they will learn of a conspiracy with dire ramifications, and their lives will be changed forever.

Not My Cup Of Tea

I really did not enjoy this game...but my niece loves it. She was able to set her friends ankle when she broke it as a result of playing this game. I don't know if that's good or not. But she told me the doctor said it was a good thing she did.......go figure!
For Everyone! Even for health professionals!

This game is so entertaining and I would recommend this game to anyone who has Wii. This game utilizes the Wii interface perfectly that I don't think other consoles can duplicate its interactivity which makes this game what it is and that much more fun!
On the other hand, I noticed people who does not play games much to have a bit of learning curve to get used to the Wii interface before trying this game because you will use every key and movement combination of the Wiimote and nun chuck. Difficulty rating on this game is rather high at the beginning unless you have played the prequel, "Second Opinion".
Also coop play makes this so much more fun. I have some friends who are in medicine and dental and they seemed to enjoy this game so much, it is amazing how much they get into it. If you have kids, get them started early with this game! ;)
Trauma Center: New Blood - A Sleeper Game for Nintendo Wii!!

After reading some mixed reviews I thought i would try this one out for the heck of it. To my surprise this game rocks!!! Its actually one of the best hands on games for the Wii that I have played personally!
To make this short and sweet this game is very very detailed and textbook medical! It has some amazing features that make you really feel the sense of urgency in the situations that you are put through (a grizzly bear attack, a hidden tumor patient, a gunshot to the chest patient etc..) This game is def worth the $20 (alot cheaper at your local game stores and brand new, sorry Amazon)
Lastly i thought i would walk through this game in an hour's time but i realized after the first two victims it gets alot more intense and there is that much more to do to a patient in alot less time (taking bullet shards from a persons heart while keeping the blood drained and keeping the patients heart beating OMG...) Also it helps alot to have a friend join in as your assistant especially on the third case, hint hint...
One thing is i would not recommend this to the younger ones since the entire game is like playing through an episode of ER. The story board gets alittle annoying after awhile but the tutorials are great and there is just so many tools at your disposal to use its incredible! Overall this is a great game for the wii for the sole purpose that you use your hands just like a real surgeon would! Def a top 5 game in my book for the Wii...
