Perfect for VC games (it's NOT for GC games)

I am a fan of the old Nintendo games. After the first night of playing Wii sports I was about to return the Wii because the excitement had already worn off. Before I did I browsed the settings. I had no idea it had WiFi abilities. My excitement returned with the discovery of the VC games.
I purchased this classic controller because it works so well with those VC games. It bugs me when people write a review and admit their own stupidity by saying "I guess I should have researched it some more."
This remote is NOT for Game Cube games. Yes, it does have to be plugged into the wireless Wii remote. But it is still a lot better than the old days of wires all over the floor.
I plan on purchasing a few more of these...they are awesome. By the way, I have the wireless Game Cube Remotes...they stink.
It's pretty and reasonably well made but horrible ergonomics.....

Well, I bought a game (Geometry Wars) that wasn't compatible with the Gamecube controller, and I went out and bought this. It might be okay for kids, but it is too small for me and the shape is bad for holding on to it.
Gamecube controllers might have been a little small, but they have a good grip. After using this I decided to go back to using the regular Wii controller and nunchuck. Should have come with a removable modern grip.
not wireless

This would be so much better if it were wireless. It actually plugs into a remote and not the actual game console, which is good and bad. It is a little annoying having it attached to a remote and to have to hold the remote in your lap because the cord is so short, but that is better than having a big ol' long cord stretching across the living room.
